[Taking Hold (WIP)]

Nice atmosphere

Nice buildup to 0:34, but I feel as though the loop continuing to 1:01 should have ended at 0:54 , the sound that appears at 1:02 I feel has too much reverb and I wish there was a clearer sound overtop. 2:31 is a cool part of the song. Great atmosphere at 3:40. Overall I felt like the song was too fast paced (which I guess is what techno is) but I feel as though it would have been nicer to hear notes held for longer and more spaced out, something simple to hold the song together. Anyway, my two cents, looking forward to hearing your new stuff!

So you felt that too much was happening too fast? Yeah, I guess I tried to fit about three thousand little chord progressions and sections into the song. I'll work on removing those extra ones or making them subtle or something. I'll try to work on notes being held longer, too.
The 1:02 sound definitely has too much reverb. It bothers me very much. Fixing that will be my main goal, because that moment is supposed to be one of the peaks, the most exciting parts of the song.

Hey , the sound you made is very unique and happy sounding. I love your use of crescendo and how you use two different instruments for the basic harmony (the one that starts at 0:15 and the other one that starts at 0:26). I hope that you add some verse-chorus-bridge variations or the song will get tiresome.

Nice Tune

0:48 is my fav part. It has a really unique but nice sound. And at 1:12 there is a nice effect in the music. Nice tune!

I agree

Needs a bass. Its nice if a song has a high, medium, and low pitched variations. Mostly I hear in your music just high and medium. Have to find a good balance with trebel and bass. I also feel like at 1:50 the music you have is too busy, i feel like my head is here and there, I think it would be nice to hear that tune simplified, like how it is at the beginning.

I know what you mean, I personally don't like this song as much as the others too :D, also about the busy part, i think i'll have some instruments play at a lower volume there, again i agree.

Happy indeed

I would love to hear a loud vibrating bass instrument underlying the song, that would give it a nice punch! And make the beat louder if you could! I like the slow transition in the middle.

Nice tune

The tune is nice, but I think different choices of instruments might have made it better. Only my opinion. The beat is also everywhere, the song might be more unified if the beat was more simple or succinct. Keep making music!

Light feeling

This song is nice because it has a nice light feeling and yet a trancy hard beat. I almost think though that there might be too much reverb and flanger that it makes the song sound too echo-ey. But I can tell what you are going for and it sounds nice.
