You have a great way of making your percussion sound very crisp and surrounding. Really nice.

Nice atmosphere

Nice buildup to 0:34, but I feel as though the loop continuing to 1:01 should have ended at 0:54 , the sound that appears at 1:02 I feel has too much reverb and I wish there was a clearer sound overtop. 2:31 is a cool part of the song. Great atmosphere at 3:40. Overall I felt like the song was too fast paced (which I guess is what techno is) but I feel as though it would have been nicer to hear notes held for longer and more spaced out, something simple to hold the song together. Anyway, my two cents, looking forward to hearing your new stuff!

ochrence responds:

So you felt that too much was happening too fast? Yeah, I guess I tried to fit about three thousand little chord progressions and sections into the song. I'll work on removing those extra ones or making them subtle or something. I'll try to work on notes being held longer, too.
The 1:02 sound definitely has too much reverb. It bothers me very much. Fixing that will be my main goal, because that moment is supposed to be one of the peaks, the most exciting parts of the song.
Thanks for a great review!

This Song has such an uplifting feeling! Great use of volume and instruments! I only wish the song could be full-length.

I think the orchestra part needs higher volume as well, and i think it would be cool if the orchestra part played twice but the second time had the beat underneath it!

Love the draft.

Hey , the sound you made is very unique and happy sounding. I love your use of crescendo and how you use two different instruments for the basic harmony (the one that starts at 0:15 and the other one that starts at 0:26). I hope that you add some verse-chorus-bridge variations or the song will get tiresome.

Good concept

I like the bridge at 1:19. Its a nice relaxer. But when you go back into the song at 1:33, I think there needs to be more climax. A trick I found out that adds depth to music is, ugh how to explain. The main melody you have throughout the song that starts at 1:33 can be duplicated and have the pitch changed to either one octave higher or lower, or both.

I like the beginning with the filter. Have the sound at 39-41 be louder and have to have more punch.

Hey there dude!
Thanks for a nice review on this song, especially on the bridge, thats where I decided to improvise with the samples.
I haven't had too much experience with the whole "Music Creating" thing, so I find what your trying to say all a bit overwhelming, I am still fiddling around with pre-made samples, even though the main beat was actually made by me.

Overall, I still thank you for he review, but Can you explain it so its not too complicated?

P.S: Don't worry I am going to try and make a song soon on a program that allows me to create most of the samples, as I said, I'm still fiddling with pre-made samples, so It will take a long time.

Nice Sound!

You have a very solid tune here. The layers fit niceley, the beat is strong. The song has a "Tron" feeling to it.

I think in order to bring this to the next level I would shorten the song by getting rid of 1:34-2:20. I feel like you play the same tune over too much, its like eating one too many cookies, the good stuff gets old. It would be more climactic if it is played only a few times like from 2:55-3:26.

Love the buildup at 3:26 and on. i would DL if song were shorter.

Nice Tune

0:48 is my fav part. It has a really unique but nice sound. And at 1:12 there is a nice effect in the music. Nice tune!

I agree

Needs a bass. Its nice if a song has a high, medium, and low pitched variations. Mostly I hear in your music just high and medium. Have to find a good balance with trebel and bass. I also feel like at 1:50 the music you have is too busy, i feel like my head is here and there, I think it would be nice to hear that tune simplified, like how it is at the beginning.

DJ-Grapefruit responds:

I know what you mean, I personally don't like this song as much as the others too :D, also about the busy part, i think i'll have some instruments play at a lower volume there, again i agree.
Thanks for the review ;)
